Dr. Beth Dorogusker has worked in the field of psychology for over 25 years, providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults in both the public and private sectors. She received her Bachelors degree from Union College graduating Phi Beta Kappa with psychology honors.  She received her Ph.D. from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies. She has worked in many hospitals both nationally and internationally. She served as the Director of the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit at Trinitas hospital specializing in the treatment of trauma and abuse using individual, family and group therapy.  She also worked as the Director of Psychology Internship training where she taught and supervised interns and clinical staff.  Her presentations were on Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Disorders.

In private practice, Dr. Dorogusker works with people across the life span with a specialty in adolescents and young adults.  Her expertise includes treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD and families working through divorce. In working with children and teens, she typically collaborates with parents and the schools when indicated.  Her primary theoretical orientation is psychodynamic and she has also received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Dr. Adam Price is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working with children, teens,  adults, couples, and families.  He is an expert in learning disabilities and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. Dr. Price has supervised and trained numerous clinicians in family and child therapy.  He has also published articles on family and child therapy in academic journals, books, newspapers, and magazines including the Wall Street Journal, Family Circle, Attitude Magazine, and Psychology Today where he has a blog.  He is the author of He’s Not Lazy; Empowering Your Son to Believe in Himself and The He’s Not Lazy Guide to Better Grades and a Great Life.  Dr. Price lectures nationally to parents and has appeared on numerous podcasts, television and radio broadcasts. He maintains a private practice in New York City and in Chatham, New Jersey.

Reshma Patel, LCSW is a Clinical Social Worker. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Boston University and her Master’s in Social Work, with an emphasis on clinical practice from New York University School of Social Work. Ms. Patel has worked in variety of settings in mental health for the past 20 years.  She started her career in school social work, working with elementary age children.  She also worked at Family Connections,a  non-profit mental health mental center in Essex County, as an Outpatient Clinician and Manager of the Outpatient Counseling Services of Division.  She has been in private practice for the past 14 years with Dorogusker Price & Associates. Ms. Patel primarily works with children ages 3 and up, using play therapy.  She works conjointly with parents/family members/primary care-takers of children for parenting support and education.  She also works with adolescents and adults using cognitive-behavioral treatment techniques.
